SUMMER LANDER

ECC Administrative Assistant

Summer has been working in early childhood education for over 15 years. She worked as a toddler and twos teacher before switching over to the Administrative side as she loves helping families find a community for their children. She has a B.A. in Liberal Studies, with a minor in Human Development from Cal State Monterey and a M.S. in Early Childhood Education from Cal State East Bay. Summer grew up in a Coast Guard family which has fueled a love of travel and the ocean. The laughter and smiles of young children drive her passion for early education, and she strives to share that passion with her staff and community.

JILL WINFREE

ECC Curriculum & Instruction Supervisor

My name is Jill and I have been working in education for 18 years, 10 of which were in early childhood. I graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management and a Master’s in Elementary Education. Before starting my career in early childhood education, I worked in the public school system as a long-term sub, before becoming a 1:1 aide in first grade. After leaving the public schools, I started my career in early childhood in Center City, teaching infants and two-year-olds but the last 5 years I have had the opportunity to teach kindergarten. I grew up in Pennsauken and Collingswood but have since settled in Haddon Township where I am a typical sports mom to my active 13-year-old son. In my free time, I love to bake, read, go to the gym, and collect all penguin-related things!
