Why Beth El?

Grow Together, Help Together, Celebrate Together, Learn Together and Have Fun Together!
There is a place for you at Congregation Beth El. We Belong Together.

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in Congregation Beth El. Our congregation has a proud history, and we are looking forward to an exciting future!

Congregation Beth El is an egalitarian Conservative Synagogue of more than 900 families, affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Our central mission as a congregation is to clear the path toward a more meaningful Jewish life: a life that reflects the love of G-d, Judaism’s sacred texts, the People Israel, and Eretz Yisrael, the Land of Israel.

We believe that Judaism is a vehicle to bring more light, more goodness, more healing, more joy, more blessing and more love into the world. Jewish religious practice stirs us to awe, directs us with purpose, and transforms our lives with meaning. Congregation Beth El seeks to create a unique, shared space where we can discover what it means to be human and to be part of a sacred community. Through the medium of Judaism, we foster moments that celebrate the joy and wonder of being alive, and of finding intimacy and connection in the presence of one another.

Home to deep thoughts and deeply thoughtful people, Beth El offers a variety of prayer services, courses of youth and adult learning, celebrations of Jewish culture, and opportunities for sacred action to uplift those in need. Grounded in exploration of Jewish tradition, text, and ritual, Beth El aspires to enrich the lives of our members to celebrate Conservative Judaism at its creative best, and to bring Jews closer to Gd, Torah and Israel.
