Scrip/RaiseRight

Scrip is an important fundraising program that sells gift cards from national and local retailers.

Retailers partnering with Beth El pay the Congregation a percentage of each card purchased. They are the same gift cards you would purchase at the store.

The beauty of scrip is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. You can earn money for our Shul without spending a single additional penny. Just spend your regular shopping dollars to purchase scrip. Scrip can be used for most household purchases including food, medications, clothing, entertainment, gasoline and even dining out. Don’t forget when it’s time for birthdays and holidays that scrip gift cards are fantastic presents.

This program enables Beth El to maintain the high level of programming our members have come to expect, as well as to develop new programming such as our award-winning inclusivity programs for special needs children, such as Project Lev.

We try to maintain an inventory of the most commonly used gift cards.

RaiseRight

We are now offering a new, additional way to fulfill your Scrip commitment, and it’s all online! This program is called RaiseRight, and it allows you to purchase your gift cards from your phone or computer, and use them immediately. All you need to do is create a free fundraising account on the RaiseRight mobile app or on the RaiseRight website.

Once you are registered, choose from hundreds of vendors to purchase gift cards. If a vendor is not available for “ship to home or e-card” an order can be placed through the Beth El office. Please note that ShopRite gift cards are still available through our Scrip program, but must be purchased at the office.
