Debbi Silverman
Member of Beth El for 34 years. Hebrew School teacher at Beth El Religious School for 26 years and B’nai Mitzvah tutor for the last 8 years. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision. Passionate about Jewish education and continuity, as well as music and singing.

Faye Shapiro
Faye received her Jewish education at Beth El, becoming a Bat Mitzvah and graduating Hebrew High and Midrashah in the 1980’s, but didn’t actually learn how to read Torah until 2004. Faye began teaching B’nai Mitzvah students in 2006, in addition to her day job as a genetic counselor, and has really enjoyed helping each of her students grow Jewishly and gain self confidence during their 10 months of study together. When not working or teaching, Faye enjoys cooking and photography and spending time with her husband and three children.
