Commemorative Giving

Beth El has numerous commemoration opportunities. Whether you want to commemorate a life cycle event, honor friends and family, or memorialize a loved one, there are many naming opportunities available to you.

Brick Paver

Do you wish to honor a loved one, that special simcha, a child’s favorite teacher, or the memory of someone special? Personalized bricks make a lasting and unique gift.

The cost of a personalized brick starts at $180 for the first brick and $118 for every brick thereafter when multiple bricks are purchased together.

Tree of Life Leaves and Stones

If you would like to honor a special person or event, please consider contributing to our beautiful and enduring Tree of Life. The Tree of Life, predominately displayed on a wall in our grand foyer, highlights the names of people and life cycle events for a memorable and lasting tribute. Names and/or events are engraved on both the golden leaves throughout the branches and the stones surrounding the trunk.

The cost to buy a leaf is $216 (12 times Chai). The cost to buy a stone is $500. 

Memorial Plaque 

The Memorial Room, situated off the grand foyer of Congregation Beth El, allows you the opportunity to establish a perpetual memorial for family and loved ones that have passed. Names and dates of death, in both English and Hebrew, are engraved on a beautiful brass plaque to be mounted on the walls of the room. In addition, your loved ones name will appear on the electronic memorial board commemorating their Yahrtzeit.

The cost of each plaque is $500.
