Welcome! Thank you for your interest in Congregation Beth El. Our congregation has a proud history, and we are looking forward to an exciting future in our new home in Voorhees, New Jersey.
Congregation Beth El is an egalitarian Conservative Synagogue of over 900 families, affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Our central mission as a congregation is to clear the path toward a more meaningful Jewish life: a life that reflects the love of G-d, Judaism's sacred texts, the People Israel, and Eretz Yisrael, the Land of Israel.
For more information about our leadership, our services, educational programs for all ages, and our school programs, please contact our Director of Community Life / Membership Director, Shari Techner Smith at (856) 675-1166 x417 or email email@example.com.
"Throughout the years, Congregation Beth El and its clergy have marked the milestones in our lives. Today, they are doing the very same for our children.
In 2000, our son, Jared, was born. We were so fortunate to have many of our grandparents and all of our parents alive to share this new life with us. Neither of us knew how much things would change in the next year. In a span of five months, Andrew lost his father, and I lost two grandparents. We leaned on the Beth El clergy to support us. In 2002, our daughter, Samantha was born. As Rabbi Krupnick officiated over her baby naming, he guided us in experiencing the joy of her life and the longing for our loved ones who were not able to meet her.
Our children began their Hebrew education at Beth El's Early Childhood Center. They grew up at the preschool. They attended weekly Friday morning Shabbat services, after-school activities like karate and dance, Family Fun Nights, Prayers and Pajamas, Summer Camp Programs, and Full-Day Kindergarten. The education was terrific. The bond with the Rabbis and the Hazzan was irreplaceable.
Now, we as a family embark on new memories. Our children attend Hebrew school in our glorious new synagogue in Voorhees, New Jersey. We are so blessed to have such an inspiring new home."
