Responsible for assisting the Educational Director in planning the annual roster of classes and events.
Responsible for publishing the monthly newsletter.
Responsible for making daily calls to people who live alone to ensure they are ok and wish them a nice day.
Responsible for establishing financial management and planning procedures for the synagogue.
Responsible for working with our caterers and congregants to promote the use of our facilities and for setting room usage policies.
Responsible for overseeing the Beth El section at Crescent Memorial Park. This committee will develop policies relating to the purchase of cemetery plots and burials in the Beth El section.
Responsible for keeping in touch with Beth El College students who are living away from home.
Responsible for synagogue wide activities including fundraising and major events. Insure that beth El maintains a ompetitive edge in designing and implementing high powered and intellectually stimulating programming.
Responsible for overseeing the Early Childhood Center and for creating communities that will enable young families to feel welcome and become part of Beth El.
Responsible for developing a Beth El endowment program to support Beth El in perpetuity.
Responsible for planning and implementing programs for empty nesters.
Responsible for planning and implementing programs for seniors.
Responsible for attention to the structural integrity, care and appearance of our buildings.
Responsible for encouraging the synagogue and its arms to plan Israel related programming and to encourage their support of Israel through educational programs and advocacy opportunities.
Responsible for promoting the synagogue and its activities to its Congregants and community at large.
This confidential committee is comprised of current and past financial secretaries who are charged with the responsibility of working with families requiring financial assistance.
Responsible for reaching out to the community to promote Beth El and build membership.
Promotes Judaism and friendship among its members locally and within the framework of the Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs; provides support for social and scholarly programming for the congregation and the community.
Providing assistance to mourners and their families during their mourning period.
Responsible for development and oversight of personnel policies and procedures.
Responsible for overseeing the Beth El Religious School. Insure that Beth EL provides top-quality religious education to our children.
Responsible for working with the clergy to establish ritual practices to preserve the dignity of our religious observances, while promoting accessibility.
Responsible for all aspects of the synagogue scrip program.
Responsible for overseeing social and religious programs for single Jewish adults in the community.
Congregation Beth El's Sisterhood is dedicated to Education, Social Action, Fund-Raising for the Synagogue, and bringing women together for Social programs. We are a branch of the Women's League for Conservative Judaism.
Responsible for channeling the efforts of Congregants to meet the needs of the larger community in which we live, locally, nationally and globally.
Responsible for selecting and improving the Congregation’s computer technology. Responsible for data base management and maintenance of website.
Provide social, religious and family oriented activities for families with children at or below Bar/Bat Mitzvah age. These activities are designed to allow Beth El families to relax, enjoy and spend time with each other.
Responsible for overseeing programs designed to promote opportunities for our children to socialize and connect to their Jewish heritage.
